Swami Nityananda and Ranjitha MMS Scandal

Swami Nityananda used to be one of the most respected modern Hindu Gurus in South India. His influence was particularly deep in Kernataka and Tamilnadu. And, that is why when the video featuring Swami with Ranjitha came out, people were shocked to see.

Ranjitha is a successful actress of Kannada film industry. She was known for being a close follower of Swami Nityananda. However, the nature of closeness was quite different. The relationship between them was not that of a guru-disciple. A hidden camera placed in the bed room of Swami Nityananda disclosed the relationship of Swami with Ranjitha.

In the video Swami is seen with Ranjitha in a very much intimate relationship. First of all, Ranjitha offered Swami a glass of milk. After drinking milk Swami began to touch Ranjitha without any protests. Then, both of them are seen to be making a physical relationship.

Though, it should come under the purview of one’s personal life and hence there should not be nay public comment, but the profile of both of these persons involved make it quite controversial. The Swami who was not only respected but worshipped simply rouged his followers.

Though, Swami and Ranjitha both have denied about the content of this video. But, it is a general perception even among his close followers that the persons involved in the video are Swami Nityananda and Ranjitha.

Ranjitha is going to write an autobiography about this controversy. And, Nityananda is still fighting a legal battle for this issue. Though, he is now out on jail, but his reputation has touched the lowest point.

The court has banned any form of telecast of this video.
